I got almost everything I asked for -
Even plus some,
But then there is the money
I had from my mum,
So I can buy in the sales
What Santa has missed...
And have everything I wanted,
Well, that I put on my list.
But presents alone
Are just part of the hype,
The best thing of all was a visit from my son
And seeing my daughters on Skype!
But
When Christmas is all over
There's one thing that stays,
That's the great Gift of Jesus,
With me now and always.
